While working on a charity website, I could not change the plugin’s donations form page url to my preferred word. I wanted to set up a redirect to another page on my WordPress website. A quick search and I stumbled on this guide from wpbeginner, which fixed this headache for me with 3 clicks.
Below are 3 steps to set up a redirect to another page on my WordPress website.
Step #1: Download/install and activate a redirection plugin. We recommend ‘page links to‘ by Mark Jaquith.
Step #2: Go to all posts or all pages, click ‘edit’ on the particular post or page you want to redirect.
Step #3: At the bottom of the post or page, you will see the “page links” to “widget.” Input the URL you want and save the page. That’s all.
